“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers
ABOUT
Hello, I'm Klara, a counsellor and hypnotherapist. You might be here because something in your life feels difficult right now. Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, anger, grief, relationship difficulties, or low self-worth. Or maybe you feel disconnected from yourself, from others, or from the life you’re living.
Our wellbeing often rests on three simple foundations: feeling safe, being able to trust, and feeling connected. When these are disrupted, even in subtle ways, it can shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Many of the ways you cope today once helped you get through challenging experiences. They made sense at the time. But sometimes those same patterns can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or overly self-critical. I offer a supportive space where we can explore what’s happening for you. Together we become curious about your thoughts, emotions and patterns, not to judge them, but to understand them. My approach is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I meet you as a person, not as a problem to be fixed. We may also gently explore what your body is telling you, because emotions often show up there first and can give us important clues about what you need.
Although this work can be meaningful and deep, it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. There is room for lightness too. I’m simply another human finding my way through life.
